There are a few things you should think about to help you choose the perfect karaoke song.Firstly, you’ll need to think some of the songs you like or your favourite bands or artists. You’re a lot likely to perform better if you choose a song you actually enjoy.

Choose the Key

Once you’ve narrowed it down a bit, you should think about the key of the song. If you have a naturally low voice, then you’ll probably struggle with Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights, even if it’s one of your favourite songs. Equally, if you’ve got a fairly high voice, don’t pick something by Elvis.

Think About Vocal Range

The hardest songs require a wider vocal range, for example, anything by Leona Lewis is likely to be too difficult unless you’re very confident with your vocal range. So be realistic and think about your range and which songs will best show it off.

Pick the Right Tempo
