O’Gorman High School received College Board’s 4th Annual AP Honor Roll. A total of 477 schools in the United States and Canada earned a place on this list and this is the second time that O’Gorman High School has received this recognition. The AP Honor Roll recognizes efforts to open AP classroom doors to a significantly broader pool of students, while maintaining or improving the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher.
College Board examined three years of AP data: 2011, 2012, and 2013 data from all students who took AP Examinations in May of those years. Within the three year analysis, inclusion on the list is based on the following criteria:

  1. Examination of three years of AP data, from 2011 to 2013;
  2. Increase in participation in/access to AP by at least 4 percent in large districts, at least 6 percent in medium districts and at least 11 percent in small districts;
  3. Performance levels must be maintained or improved when comparing the percentage of exams scoring 3+ in 2011 to 2013. While the Honor Roll is not a roster of higher performing districts, it is a roster of districts that are simultaneously expanding opportunity and improving performance.
